Banana Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie

(Suitable for Bariatric Liquid Phase) 



Ingredients:


• 1 scoop whey or plant based protein powder (flavour of choice or plain)


• ½ small banana (frozen)


• 1 tsp natural peanut butter


• ½ cup low-fat milk or unsweetened plant-based milk


• Extra water if needed to reach a thin, pourable consistency


Method:


1. Blend thoroughly until completely smooth and lump-free.


2. Add extra water as needed to achieve a thin liquid texture suitable for the liquid phase.


Notes for bariatric liquid phase:


• Ensure the smoothie can easily pass through a straw or pour freely from a cup.


• Sip slowly and stop if any discomfort occurs.
